BODR Scheme
The Business Online Dispute Resolution (BODR) Scheme provides fixed fee mediation, arbitration and hybrid processes of med-arb and arb-med for business disputes from £10,000 to £250,000.
Download our BODR Guide for full details on the scheme.
“The BODR scheme is a fraction of the cost of going to court. It is simple enough to allow most businesses to present their own case without legal representation, and flexible enough to allow lawyers to participate if instructed.
It is designed to resolve your dispute in a matter of weeks, ending wasted management time, damaged relationships, lost productivity and legal fees.”
How it works
Get in touch
You send us a brief description of the dispute. We then call you to discuss our ODR processes, our terms and conditions and our costs. We (or you) then approach the other party (or parties) to ask them to participate.
Getting started
Once all parties agree to proceed, they submit a joint application form to start the ODR process. As part of the application they either choose an individual from our panel or ask us to.
Formal appointment
We then issue a standard contract which records the parties’ agreement to the ODR method chosen, formally appoints the mediator or arbitrator; and allows us to onboard each party to the ODR platform to start the process.
Ongoing support
We guide you through each step of the process including the technology used to onboard your case, upload documents, and meet online. We provide all the standard form documents and explain what they mean.
